If you find yourself in Philadelphia this Friday, February 19, consider stopping by Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts from 5-9 pm for Open Studio Night. Dozens of student and alumni studios will be open to visitors including mine #636.
PAFA is home to a remarkable community of artists many of whom make work that is truly blow-you-away fantastic. As a bonus, there are usually also refreshments and events like a bronze pour. The event is free and hosted at 128 N. Broad Street in downtown Philly. Limited free parking is available on surrounding streets (Race, 15th, 16th), and there is also a pay lot behind the school at the corner of 15th and Race.
